Designed on my placement year at the Arts Council of Northern Ireland for display in the Troubles section of the Ulster Museum on its reopening. I also had a hand in developing the site in ASP, gathering content and addressing issues such as functionality and usability.
This project received a lot of press after it's official launch in December 2009. It is still under development and will be pushed out to a external domain in 2010.
In Winter 2009/10 I created an iPhone app to be released under the Killbot Collective brand (see below), this is the homepage located at getimdapp.com which was used to promote the app and give users a link to its app store location.
The IMD app was launched on January 4th 2010 and is available in the UK and Irish app stores aimed at students of Interactive Multimedia Design at University of Ulster.
The Killbot Collective is a brand that co-operates with fellow IMD students Ciara Bryans, David McCracken and Tommy Palmer as an outlet for the IMD App released in January 2010. It also serves as a point of contact for anybody who would like to discuss projects by using the email address: mail@killbotcollective.com
Most Killbot Collective news and updates are first released through their Twitter which is found here.
Colleen is a student of Illustration at the Arts University College at Bournemouth. This is an ongoing project which has not yet launched and is set to showcase the Illustration and photography talent of Colleen as she completes her degree.
This site makes use of emerging web technologies such as CSS3 and jQuery UI, both quite useful in portfolio site like this. Need a portfolio site like this?
Created for Franklynn Holdings in Summer 2009, I developed this site based on the companies brochure, where the homepage was a series of pictures accompanied by quotations and statements relevant to the business. The site also featured a contact page and profile of the company.
This site launched in June 2009 and has increased the profile of the business and can be view at franklynn.co.uk.
A self-initiated project in an attempt to further my iPhone Development skills, the IMD iPhone App allows a Interactive Multimedia Design Student with access to an iPhone/iPod Touch to access vital information such as news and timetables associated with their course.
The app is still in development as of December 2009 and will be launched at the end of January 2010. The future of this app may transfer to other university courses if welcomed.
Created for Northern Irelands Cultural Olympiad in association with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the 2012 London Olympics. Features a bespoke Content Management System that allows users addition of news article, videos and pictures etc. This was a redesign request and gave me a chance to delve into Information Architecture.
Launched in January 2010, the site can be viewed at artscouncil-ni.org/olympiad.
Apex Racing is a group project I was part of alongside Ciara Bryans, David McCracken and Andrea Taylor. It was to rebrand and redesign the University of Ulsters current Formula Student Race team and to give them an online presence.
The Apex Racing site was created as part of a design module of Interactive Multimedia Design.
